Prerequisites
Before initiating a transfer:
•Domain must be at least 60 days old
•Domain must not be in a locked state
•You must have the EPP/Auth code from your current registrar
•Domain must not be expired
Step 1: Unlock Your Domain
At your current registrar, disable the transfer lock (also called "Registrar Lock").
Step 2: Get the Auth Code
Request the EPP/Authorization code from your current registrar. They may email it to you.
Step 3: Initiate Transfer
1.Go to Dashboard → Domains
2.Click "Transfer Domain"
3.Enter your domain name
4.Enter the EPP/Auth code
5.Proceed to payment
Step 4: Confirm Transfer
You'll receive an email to approve the transfer. Click the confirmation link.
Step 5: Wait for Completion
Transfers typically take 5-7 days. During this time:
•Your domain continues to work normally
•DNS settings are preserved
•You'll get email updates on progress
Important Notes
•Transfers extend your domain by 1 year
•Some TLDs (.uk, .de) have different transfer processes
•Contact support if transfer takes longer than 14 days
